Hillary Clinton’s Fundraiser To Be Held In Paris Men’s Fashion Week ! Actor Kyle MacLachlan To Co Host !

During the men’s shows in Paris, a fundraiser will be held for presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, WWD has reported.

Paris Men’s Fashion Week will run from Wednesday, June 22 to the 26th. The fundriaing event is scheduled for the first evening and will be cohosted by actorKyle MacLachlan, who will share duties with his wife Desiree Gruber, an executive producer of “Project Runway.”

According to WWD, MacLachlan will soon reprise his role as agent Agent Dale Cooper in new episodes of the television series “Twin Peaks.”

Back in March, French brand Chanel‘s 82-year-old designer expressed his support for Clinton.

“I like the idea,” Karl Lagerfeld told the Associated Press about Clinton backstage in Paris, adding that “it’s Women’s Day every day” in his life.

“I think with the first black president, what they need now is the first woman president. That has to change too,” Lagerfeld said. He continued his support for the Democratic candidate by adding that “there’s nobody else to support anyway.”

One month prior, the former Secretary of State also launched her “Made for History” project, which is a collection of campaign merchandise created by fashion designers. Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, and Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow of Public School have all designed campaign T-shirts.

“The Made for History collection is a unique addition to our campaign store and will give our supporters an extraordinary new way to show their enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton and support her campaign for President,” Clinton’s deputy communications director, Kristina Schake, told Vogue on the final day of New York Fashion Week.

The Condé Nast publication’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, wore Jacobs’ Made for History tee in the front row of the designer’s fall/winter 2016 show. Additionally, Jacobs himself sported a different version of the Clinton design as he took his ending bow.

Back in September, Tory Burch also hosted a fundraiser for Clinton at her Hampton home. Wintour, Martha Stewart, Donna Karan and Barneys owner Richard Perry were among the 200 attendees.
