At least 84 people were killed and 200 others were injured when a man drove a large box truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France, on July 14. Authorities are investigating the attack byMohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel as an act of terrorism, though Bouhlel does not have any known ties to terror organizations and was not being surveilled prior to the attack. He was shot dead by police in a gun battle after driving through the Promenade des Anglais crowd, leaving carnage in his wake. The victims include many children and are from several countries, including France, the United States, Russia, Armenia, Algeria, Germany, Tunisia and Britain. Many of the injured are in critical condition and are “between life and death,” French President François Hollande said. Continue through the gallery to see photos of the victims who have been identified so far, and to read their stories. We will continue to update this gallery as more names are made public and add photos of the victims as they are available.
